MORE ABOUT Laura
This is Laura's first full time role after smashing her master's in Human Resource Management at Exeter Uni. She really is a force of nature on our people team!
The average day for Laura might involve a few virtual meetings, collaborating with our team on all things People and Ops, or checking in with different Quokkas. There's always lots of work on her to-do list, writing policies, running Quokka initiatives, and working to improve areas across the employee lifecycle. Laura also keeps busy helping people out with little admin requests, often to do with BambooHR (our HR software), or providing information about our policies.
A FEW TIDBITS
Laura has a bit of a coffee shop addiction and can almost invariably be found with a Pret cup in her hand. Oat milk flat white, if you're buying!
At Karaoke, Laura would pick to sing Beyonce's 'Love on Top', although she's not confident she'd hit all the notes after the modulations.
Her desert island disk would be Tchaikovsky's 'Fifth Symphony' for its absolutely banging horn lines.
