Rocco: Launches New Employee Listening Strategy
Rocco Forte Hotels launches a new employee engagement and happiness programme, in conjunction with The Happiness Index, across their global portfolio.
Established by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister, Olga Polizzi in 1996, Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of 15 individual hotels and resorts in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Russia and the UK, employing over 1,600 people. The group prides itself on its family feel and on treating their people as well as their guests.
Sir Rocco Forte comments: “To my mind, how we succeed is as important as what we achieve. We believe it is important to treat your people, partners and suppliers as well as you treat your guests. Not only is it the fair and correct thing to do, but it also makes business sense.”
Rocco Forte Hotels will implement the neuroscience backed employee engagement and happiness platform provided by The Happiness Index to enable their people to feedback whenever, and wherever they want, as well as analysing their cultural health in-depth to support the people strategy at each individual hotel. The platform offers +20 pre-built neuroscience backed surveys. The data is available in real-time and highlights key drivers to prioritise and provides insight on how to take action.
Despite the global pandemic proving incredibly tough for our sector, we have continued to keep our people at the heart of our business. All our hotels run independently rather than as a chain operation and we know that our people are an amazing source of new ideas and energy. Creating a long-term strategy with The Happiness Index will enable us to better listen and understand how our people are thinking and feeling to drive a stronger people strategy within each of our locations.
