The Happiness Index Launches Partnership with Sodexo BRS Romania
The Happiness Index is delighted to announce the launch of a new partnership with Sodexo Benefits & Rewards (BRS) in Romania to resell their employee engagement and happiness platform.
The new partnership strengthens Sodexo BRS’s core proposition around rewards and recognition by offering organisations in Romania the ability to understand in real-time how happy and engaged their people are through The Happiness Index’s platform.
The Happiness Index platform uses a range of neuroscience-based surveys that enables companies to understand how employees think, feel and behave across the employee experience. This real-time employee feedback empowers organisations to drive cultural change through targeted action plans.
Manuel Fernandez Amezaga, CEO of Sodexo BRS Romania & Bulgaria comments: “Demographic changes such as a rapidly ageing population and the exodus of skilled talent to Western Europe are amongst the factors making the labour market in Romania very challenging for employers, heightening the need to focus on attracting and retaining great talent. The Happiness Index platform helps business leaders and HR professionals become more effective in the creation and delivery of their people strategy. We talk to organisations of all sizes and sectors, and the thing they all have in common is the range of complex people issues that have to contend with. Using The Happiness Index’s cutting-edge neuroscience platform will enable them to understand in real-time what their people are thinking and feeling. They can then anticipate and rapidly respond to their people’s needs, creating a culture centred around building sustained levels of happiness and engagement.”
Early adopters of the The Happiness Index platform in Romania are expected to be the 30,000 organisations in Romania already working with Sodexo. However, Manuel also expects high demand from employers with outdated or no method of measuring their cultural health. He continues: ”As the industry leader in the HR community in Romania, it’s our responsibility to help develop the market and its focus on enhancing the wellbeing of people. There’s now widespread understanding that improving employee wellbeing at an organisational level improves our nation’s overall wellbeing which benefits our economic growth and productivity.”
Matthew Phelan, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of The Happiness Index adds: “The pandemic has changed the world forever. To survive and grow, organisations need to listen to their people and get a real-time picture of how happy and engaged they are. By measuring the key factors employees need to thrive at work, leaders can power their HR strategy and drive positive cultural change. Our neuroscience based platform uniquely measures the entire employee experience from new starters to leavers. This makes it a game changer for the Romanian market and we couldn’t be happier to be working with the Sodexo BRS team”.
