Elle became a full-time Quokka in 2021 having spent a few months working on freelance writing projects with the marketing team.
An average day will find Elle with her nose stuck in a document, trolling our discord for content ideas, or chatting up colleagues and clients for quotes. Elle says that Matt Phelan taught her that ‘done is better than perfect’ - it changed her life and put her onto her new path as a recovering perfectionist.
A FEW TIDBITS
Elle is never knowingly without a book, and her desert island read would be her complete works of Jane Austen, it’s already battered so she wouldn’t mind getting it a bit sandy.
She has a (not so secret!) crush on Sue Perkins and was truly devastated when she left Bake Off. Life has never been the same since.
Her most guilty pleasure is watching Sunshine on Leith and singing along to all the Proclaimers hits, she even knows the flashmob dance.
If you ever get the chance, ask her to show you the pictures of her dressed as a Venus Fly Trap at a party - they’re not to be missed.
