Hawksford: Launches Employee Engagement & Happiness Strategy to Drive Global Growth
Hawksford, a leading provider of corporate, private client and fund administration services, launches a new employee engagement and happiness strategy in conjunction with The Happiness Index.
Hawksford is headquartered in Jersey and currently employs 440 professionals across multiple locations including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and London.
Following significant recent private equity investment from STAR Capital, the organisation is embarking on an ambitious growth journey. It aims to treble the size of the current business in terms of profitability, headcount and geographical footprint over the next three years.
Richard Summerfield, Chief People Officer, comments: “Hawksford has always worked hard to create a culture that our people, advisers and shareholders can be proud to be a part of. As we embark on the next phase of our journey we have bold ambitions to prioritise investment in the working environment, and make employee engagement and happiness central to our success”.
Hawksford is implementing the neuroscience-backed employee engagement and happiness platform provided by The Happiness Index to create an employee-centric listening culture. This will enable them to continually analyse their cultural health and provide the insight they need to focus on key actions for their new people strategy, which has already been shared transparently with all employees.
Richard continues: “Global M&A is an integral part of our growth strategy, so it’s critical that we have a smart platform to engage and listen to all our people, wherever they live or how long they’ve worked with us. Since the pandemic we’ve already started to implement a transformational hybrid working model and collaborative office environment to set our people up to thrive. But we know that this is only one piece of the jigsaw, and that ultimately the strength of inner happiness and engagement is the biggest overall driver of productivity and outcomes. Investing more in the happiness and health of our people, individually and collectively, is the best way to drive our continued growth”.
