We are delighted to announce that we just appointed Global HR leader, Business Coach and HR Consultant, Adrien Desboudard as Happiness Index Director for Western Europe!
Our Co-Founder Matt, on Adrien’s acquisition:
“We are so excited to have appointed Adrien as our Happiness Index Director for Western Europe. This is part of our wider expansion plan called The Happiness Silk Road.
“Adrien brings to us a huge wealth of experience in leading HR operations within Global businesses. Our first focus is the French market but we hope to expand operations throughout Europe. We have already worked with global brands in France such as Sodexo and Covéa Insurance from London but this is part of our commitment to expansion.
“I will be personally working closely with Adrien and I see ourselves as Co-Founders of The Happiness Index in firstly France and then in wider Europe”
Adrien on joining The Happiness Index:
“Like many HR colleagues, I spent a great deal of time throughout my career working on fostering environments where everyone could thrive and express their full potential. And this is precisely what The Happiness Index is all about: providing organisations with groundbreaking solutions that combine neuroscience, AI, and friendly UX to better understand employees’ expectations to boost engagement. I can’t wait to join the team and become The Happiness Index brand ambassador in Western Europe to showcase our solutions to a wide audience, starting with France!”
Recent investment into employee happiness and engagement
We recently completed a seed round and raised £1,060,000 funding from angel investors to continue the growth of our employee engagement and happiness platform.
When we started this company, our purpose was to help businesses create a thriving culture that balances people with profit. The aim was to help organisations measure employee happiness and engagement to understand their cultural health and improve employee experience – ultimately driving better productivity and financial performance. We now have 10 million+ data points, from employees across 95 countries. We are working with some of the world’s leading employers such as Sodexo (17th largest employer), Unilever, Deloitte, RAC, and M&C Saatchi. We can’t wait to supercharge our reach and offerings as we expand into France and then into wider Europe. We won’t rest until workplace happiness, engagement and wellbeing is a right… not a luxury!
